Beep test
Today in fitness we did the beep test, I was sick today but I still tried my best. I got 11.2, I'm happy with my results considering I was feeling under the weather. I did 45 push-ups, and held the plank for 2 minutes.

Track
For track practise we did tires through the snow. We did tires for about 45 minutes and we also did relay for 15. Here is a couple pictures of me at track practise doing tires.

Triple threat workout
Today for fitness Friday we did the triple threat workout, I really enjoyed the workout today, I think it was a good workout to do on a Friday before the weekend. I like these workouts a lot, I love doing circuit training and doing a combination of different stuff. These workouts for me aren't to bad because I'm used to doing them for track so it wasn't to hard of a fitness day.

Local motion
Today in fitness we did a new version of the local motion. I really enjoyed fitness today, I like this version of the local motion a lot. It was cool that we got to do some of it with partners and on our own. The workouts that we did in this version I really liked and were a great workout. This is one of my favourite excersises for fitness. I had a pretty good workout today, I tried my best in all of the excersises. I thought this workout was really fun.

You and extended beep test
On Tuesday this week for fitness was really good, I really like how yoga and the extended beep test was combined. I had a really good workout, first we did yoga and I never stopped for a break during the whole thing and made sure that I did it properly. Then we did the extended beep test I tried my best and I think that was probably the best I have done on the extended beep test. This is one of my favourite workouts for fitness, I really enjoyed it.

Fitness
For fitness on Friday we did the hill run and pond run, it's one of my favourite workouts for fitness. For the hills I tried my best and never stopped when I was going up the hill. For the pond run I ran and walked when I was supposed to. Friday was a really good fitness day I really enjoyed that workout.

Fitness/Insanity workout
Today in fitness we did insanity. Insanity is one of my favorite workouts to do on fitness days. Today I had a pretty good workout, this insanity workout wasn't really one of my favorites out of the other workouts we have done in the past with insanity. I really enjoy doing these kind of workouts, today was a good fitness day.

Fitness Tuesday
On Tuesday for fitness we did the 30 for 30 workout for 40 minutes. I really liked that workout, I never stopped when I was supposed to be doing a workout and always did it for the whole 30 seconds. I really like those kinds of workouts because I'm used to doing circuit training for track. That's one of my favourite workouts for fitness days.

Beep test
Today for fitness testing we did the beep test. I went up to level 13. My goal for next time for the beep test is going to be 13.8.

Track practise
1st Report Card
So far this year for my fitness I have been really active and eating healthy. I have track outside of school 3-4 times a week and on holidays for example this Remembrance Day we are having a 3 hour session in the gym on weight training. For me I would say my fitness is really good because every day I do 250 push-ups, 250 sit-ups, and also I do burpees . I am obsessed with my fitness and eating healthy, I always eat breakfast lunch and dinner because its very important to be eating all your meals and the right food when you are doing this kind of training. In the morning for breakfast I will have either an egg white sandwich, scrambled eggs, pancakes for carbs or waffles, or an omelet, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I always make sure I have breakfast. For dinner I will usually have chicken, pasta, all that kind of stuff for protein and carbs. For my track training program we have a food nutritionist and a massage therapist on the site so we no what to be eating and if we have any pain, soreness or injuries they can be worked out.
After school for track we have really good workouts track practise is about 2 hours every practise. Always on Fridays we will be in the gym for about 2 hours doing circuit training and weights. One day of the week we do about 15-20 parachutes in one practise there and back on a football field ( there and back is one). On the other 2 days of the week we workout on the track one day working on long distance and our endurance, the other day we will work on our sprints but the longer sprints like 200m and 400m. Also throughout the training program we to sand hills, pool training, and also we got to 8 rinks and work on our speed on the skinny fast treadmill and the double hockey treadmill. So after school I keep active everyday of the week either at track practise or doing my own workouts at home.
In PE I always do my best and participate either in the activities we do in class or fitness days. I always make sure I get the best workout I can because I don't like waiting my time or fooling around when I can get a good workout in. In class I always respect others and have a good attitude for example the activities we do. I will contribute or help the class in any way I can, for example putting the equipment away, setting up, getting the activity setup. I will try to help in any way I can. I always am prepared for PE and always bring my gym strip. For me I really like the activities we do as a class and also most of the fitness activities I really like for example insanity and the local motion, I also really like the fitness activity when we work down from a number and do the different workouts and run to the middle of the star. I really like circuit training. Also I really enjoy the community run and doing the 21 minute run, I really enjoy running outside.
I think the appropriate grade for PE for me would be an A. I'm not quite sure for percentage but I think in the 90's or so would be appropriate and a G for work habits. For my blog I do lots of posts for PE., the thing is for me for posting evidence for fitness and the activities I don't want to bring my phone out and carry it around because it will take away from the activity or fitness day that I'm doing if I have to worry about holding because I want to get the best workout I can and if I have to hold it in my hand it's going to take away from that. Also I am worried about forgetting it or leaving it out, but what I am going to start doing is post pictures from my track practise so I can post evidence for my outside of school fitness.

Extended beep test
Today for fitness we did the extended beep test. I had a really good workout, I tried my best and didn't rest more then 3 beeps the most I sat out was 2. I did 2-1 then when it got faster and closer to the end I did 1-2. This is me and Anastasiia after the extended beep test.

Track
At track practice I did 15 parachutes there and back on a football field, there and back is 1. Then we were running ion the spot with our knees up and with our arms straight out against a wall and working on our release form for running. Every week we have weight training on Fridays for 2 hours. I will start posting videos and pictures from my track practises.

Fitness Monday
Today for fitness we did partner workouts for 40 minutes, while one partner is working out for 30 seconds while the other one rests. I got a good workout today, I tried my best and didn't stop to rest during the exercises. Today was a good fitness day!:)
Fitness Friday
On Friday for fitness we did insanity. I got a pretty good workout, I didn't stop to rest I kept going. I like the workout insanity it's one of my favourite workouts to do. I'm used to those kind of workouts for track that's probably why I like it.

Interim report
So far in this class I think I'm doing good. All the activities we do I participate and get involved. In fitness I always try my best and work hard so I can get a good workout. When we do activities with the class I will help to try to get organized and if we need to put equipment away I will help. So far PE has been really fun and good. I really like the activities we have been doing in PE. I can't wait for what's to come for PE this semester!
Track this week
On Monday for track we did a 3-hour gym session. We did circuit training and
and we also did power lifting. The gym session was from11-2. For circuit training there was 10 different workouts we could do example bench press, sit-ups, push-ups, and we did 3 sets of 7 minutes straight. For the power lifting we did that for about 2 hours or so. We learned the proper technique for the lifting and use the bars and a bit of weight. Also I did the bench press, I can bench my own weight. On Tuesday I did an 800m then I did 18 parachutes there and back on a football field.There and back counts as one.

Fitness Tuesday
On fitness for Tuesday we did a workout called tough mudder. In my group there was 5 of us. It was pretty good we just got confused a bit with some of the workouts. It wasn't my favourite fitness activity but it was fun. All of our evidence for this fitness activity is on Anastasiia's blog.

Track
Outside of school I do track from 3-4 times a week with Robert Esmie the gold Olympian for the 4 by 100 meter relay race. Everyday I do 250 push-ups and 250 sit-ups, and at track practise we have lot's of different workouts. During the week we go to a gym for our workout on Fridays , one day of the week we will do parachutes and tires, I use the double parachutes, and the other days we do different types of workout on the track. Some days we run longer distances for our endurance and other days we will do 400 or 200 meter. Also we do Sandhills training, that's my favourite! Those are my workouts for track! Also if we break standards he sets for us we get drae beats! I got orange drae beats which are is the colour of our training program airblastoff!! I got them for breaking his standard he set for me in the 300m in the championships in Kamloops in the summer.

P.E fitness friday
On friday for fitness we did the fitness pyramid with 10 excersises starting at 12 for each then going down to 5. For me I really liked the workout and tried my best. That workout was really good to me because everyday for track I do 250 pushups and 250 situps so It wasn't that bad because I'm used to doing pushups, situps and that kind of stuff everyday.

Becky's Final PE Blog
This year in p.e I had a pretty good attendance I just missed some classes for cross country and track and field. I always arrive on time and I always have my gym strip. every class I participate in the activities we are doing. I always try my best and get a good workout. This year I have been really active and fit. Outside of school I train really hard for track and have track meets on most weekends. Every day I do 250 sit ups and 250 pushups and have track practice 3-4 times a week. This year was the first year that I trained for track with air blast off since the beginning of the year and in september to about January I trained 4 times a week so all year I have been really active and fit. How I contribute to our class dynamic is I am very responsible and don't goof around, I am kind do others and will help any if they need help. when something needs to be done in the class or something needs to be set up I will help out. what I bring to the class is positive attitude and set a good example for others, examples of this are I will always say good job to everyone and I always play the games or participate in what the class is doing not just stand around and not participate. Also I set a good example to the class because I don't mess around and always come prepared to class. Also how I participate in the activities.What I think to be physically educated is that you have an understanding what you need to do to keep your body fit, active, and healthy. Also you need to know the food you should eat and the activities and exercises you should do. How I am ready for indepedence is I know what I need to do to be healthy and keep active. Also I have my track outside of school 3 times a week so when p.e ends it dosen't mean that my physical activiness does to. I love to be healthy and active!I think that the grade I deserve for p.e this year would be an A because I always come prepared to class with a postitive attitude and I always participate and try my best. I don't waste my time in p.e I always want to get a good workout. This year has been a great, fun, and an active year!

Rebecca Terry's pe interm report
From my last blog post for pe for my report I have basically just been doing the same thing since it wasn't that long ago. I keep fit and work out everyday and I always do my best effort in pe.And I always help out if I can. And as pe go's on until the end of this year I will always keep doing what I'm doing because I think being healthy and keeping fit is so important because as my track coach say's your body is your temple. I think that is so true and that's why we need to eat the right things keeping fit and not partaking in anything that will do harm. I think that my favourite part of pe is when we do activities with our classes. My goal for the end of this class is to maintain my fitness.

I really like my pe class everyone is really nice and we do fun activities in class. Always in pe I try my best and help out when I can. I think keeping active and being healthy is very important, I think its really good and important that we have pe because when everyone is done graduating no one is going to tell them to go to the gym or work out they have to do it on their own. It's really good that the pe department teaches that. In pe I thinks it's very important do always do your best. My life style is very good for keeping active. Because I do track and field with Robert Esmie and I do that 4 times a week and on top of that I go to the gym with my dad sometimes and I do 250 pushups and 250 sit ups a day.I love the quote robert Esmie says 60 minutes a day keeps the doctor away. And I also eat healthy to because I want to be healthy and be at my best and not eat unhealthy junk food. I like eating healthier way better. In pe class I always participate during activities in class. When I am old enough I would love to student assiste in a pe class. And when I am older I would like to be a personal trainer for a living because I would be doing something I love and it's important to help other people be healthy. In pe class I always play fair and treat others with respect and I don't goof off in class. I believe that the letter grade I have earned would be an A. I am looking forward to the rest of the year.
