Rebecca's Final Report Card Post

This year for pe has been really good for me, I have enjoyed the class activities and the fitness days in pe this semester. I think the appropriate grade for me for pe would be an A and some where in the 90's.

I love being active and staying fit. Outside of pe I do a lot of activities to stay fit. All year round except August I do track training 3-4 times a week and it's and hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours long. Every day I do 250 push-ups and 250 sit-ups on top of my tack workouts. I also have a pull-up bar and to pull-ups everyday. I love doing workouts to stay fit and be healthy, I am very obsessed with my health and fitness. Sometimes I also go to the gym with my dad and do workouts there also. Outside of my track I love to wakeboard and go hiking at my cabin. In the summer we go down there a lot and I always love to go wake boarding. With my family we also go hiking on the trails behind our cabin. Whenever when I am in Maui which is about 2 times a year we rent surfboards and go surfing.

Food wise I eat very healthy, I don't really like to eat junk food. For track we have a nutritionist that tells us exactly what we need to eat in order to be healthy and have enough energy to do the workouts we do. I know exactly how many grams of protein I need to eat in a day, how many litres of water, and healthy foods that we should eat for breakfast lunch dinner. I love eating healthy! For breakfast I will usually have either oatmeal and fruit, eggs, and before track meets I usually have oatmeal or pancakes for carbs. For lunch I normally have fruit, vegetables, sandwich, nuts, just that kind of stuff. For dinner I have usually chicken, salads, lots of veggies, pasta, and fish.

In pe class I never waiste my time when I could be getting a good workout. On fitness days I always will do the best I can, the last couple of weeks I have been sick but I did the best I could being sick. I love the workouts we do for fitness, I always try do get the best workout I can. On choice days I normally go the weight room and to push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups, I don't waiste my time when I am up there. When we do class activities I always participate and help out when I can. I also always try to make blog post when I can, and try to post pictures of me at track practise. On pervious blog post I do frequently make posts about pe and I have posted some pictures of me doing workouts at track practise. I always come to class prepared with my gym strip and ready to go. I am always wearing the appropriate clothing for doing pe in,  I haven't forgot or not bringed my gym strip to pe this semester.
Pe has been really good this semester.

The workouts outside of school that I do for track are very intense. Every Monday now starting this month we do treadmill training at a hockey rink and use their huge treadmill that can run 2 people at a time. We also are going to use further on their really fast skinny treadmill.
On the others days of the week we are on the track. Rain, shine, or snow we always have track practise the weather never stops us. Once a week everyone has to work on their distance even if your a sprinter. Some of the workouts we do on that day are 6 800m and 3-4 1500m. On the other days we also do continuous relay around the track for 20 minutes with more then 1 batton going around. We also work down from 800m down to 100m so like 800m-600m-400m-200m-100m. Sometimes we also do 5-6 400's, tires, parachutes, pool training, and gym training. Track practise is very tireing and intense but it's worth it for the outcome it has.

I am a very active person and even when pe is done I still will be doing a lot of workouts with track and also track meets on the weekend. Just because pe ends doesn't mean my physical activity will. Everyday I am always doing something active and eating healthy. So overall in this class I think the appropriate grade would be an A and somewhere in the 90's.

  1. I've really enjoyed teaching you this year. I like the measures you take to live a very healthy and active life style in terms of nutrition and workouts. I know that it's not easy to do and takes a lot of discipline which demonstrates the type of character you have. Everything you bring to class is great, your attitude, energy, politeness and work ethic. I know that a lot of students have benefited from having you in their class.
