Track

  At track practice I did 15 parachutes there and back on a football field, there and back is 1. Then we were running ion the spot with our knees up and with our arms  straight out against a wall  and working on our release form for running. Every week we have weight training on Fridays for 2 hours.  I will start posting videos and pictures from my track practises.

Fitness Monday

Today for fitness we did partner workouts for 40 minutes, while one partner is working out for 30 seconds while the other one rests.  I got a good workout today, I tried my best and didn't stop to rest during the exercises. Today was a good fitness day!:)

Fitness Friday

On Friday for fitness we did insanity. I got a pretty good workout, I didn't stop to rest I kept going. I like the workout insanity it's one of my favourite workouts to do. I'm used to those kind of workouts for track that's probably why I like it.

Interim report

So far in this class I think I'm doing good. All the activities we do I participate and get involved. In fitness I always try my best and work hard so I can get a good workout. When we do activities with the class I will help to try to get organized and if we need to put equipment away I will help. So far PE has been really fun and good. I really like the activities we have been doing in PE. I can't wait for what's to come for PE this semester!

Track this week

 On Monday for track we did a 3-hour gym session. We did circuit training and 
and we also did power lifting. The gym session was from11-2. For circuit training there was 10 different workouts we could do example bench press, sit-ups, push-ups, and we did 3 sets of 7 minutes straight. For the power lifting we did that for about 2 hours or so. We learned the proper technique for the lifting and use the bars and a bit of weight. Also I did the bench press, I can bench my own weight. On Tuesday I did an 800m then I did 18 parachutes there and back on a football field.There and back counts as one.

Fitness Tuesday

On fitness for Tuesday we did a workout called tough mudder. In my group there was 5 of us. It was pretty good we just got confused a bit with some of the workouts. It wasn't my favourite fitness activity but it was fun. All of our evidence for this fitness activity is on Anastasiia's blog.

Community run fitness Friday

For fitness today we did the community run, I ran with the runners group, I completed the run in 32 min. Today I had a really good workout, I really like the community run!

Track

 Outside of school I do track from 3-4 times a week with Robert Esmie the gold Olympian for the 4 by 100 meter relay race. Everyday I do 250 push-ups and 250 sit-ups, and at track practise we have lot's of different workouts. During the week we go to a gym for our workout on Fridays , one day of the week we will do parachutes and tires, I use the double parachutes, and the other days we do different types of workout on the track. Some days we run longer distances for our endurance and other days we will do 400 or 200 meter. Also we do Sandhills training, that's my favourite! Those are my workouts for track! Also if we break standards he sets for us we get drae beats! I got orange drae beats which are is the colour of our training program airblastoff!! I got them for breaking his standard he set for me in the 300m in the championships in Kamloops in the summer.

Today in PE we did the 25 minute run. On average each lap I did was about 3:45. I had a really good workout.

Today in fitness we did stations of different exercises. I had a really good workout. I did my best and participated in all of the stations. Today was a good fitness day:)
